Aly was born and raised in South Pasadena, California where she spent most of her time active in both theater and sports. She went on to study psychology and theater at Occidental College, a private liberal arts school in Eagle Rock, CA. Since graduating, she has completed the improvisation program at the Upright Citizens Brigade, performed with John Ennis' theater company YARD, and is now studying improv and sketch at The Groundlings Theater.
She's passionate about developing and acting in her own projects with her very talented writer/director boyfriend, Matthew Talamantes. In October of 2017 they showcased 9 of their own short films (@ James Franco's Studio 4 in North Hollywood) spanning across various genres including drama, action, comedy and horror. One of the 9 films was a drama-comedy written and produced by Aly entitled, "Step by Stepdad," about a stepfather/stepdaughter relationship starring JR Reed. Another of the films was an action piece entitled Joy Jacobs: First Bite where she played a gun slinging, foul mouthed monster hunter which she won Female Action Performer of the Year for at the 2017 Action On Film Festival. In 2018 Aly starred in Talamantes’ first feature film, Sour Patch, which they can’t wait to share with the world!
Aly is so grateful for her amazing friends and family, her cat Bubba and her sweet little Glendale apartment. She is excited for the future and feels very lucky to be pursuing her dreams in the city she has always called home.
